Terms of enrolment
Registering interest
Filling in the form on this site costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It tells us you would like a place, and lets us find a lecture hour that works for your timezone. A place is confirmed only when we write back to you and you pay the foundation-block fee.
When a course runs
A course begins once enough students have registered for a cohort to form. If too few register in a given term, we will tell you and either hold your place for the next term or return anything you have paid, whichever you prefer.
Lecture times
Lectures are live, once a week for most courses and twice a week for the non-Indian beginners’ course, generally at a weekend. The slot is fixed with each cohort once it forms, at an hour convenient to the majority. Occasional changes are notified in advance.
Fees and instalments
The foundation-block fee falls due when your place is confirmed. The continuation fee falls due only at the end of the foundation block, and may be paid in two equal instalments. Kalidasa’s Shakuntalam and Rutucharya for Healthy Life are paid in full before they begin; of the discounts, only the 50% for a parent, spouse or sibling applies to them. Indian students residing in India pay in rupees; everyone else in US dollars.
Course material
Notes and texts are shared with enrolled students for their own study. Please do not record, republish or circulate the lectures or material without asking first.
Conduct
Cohorts are small and the lectures are conversations. We ask only that you attend when you can, keep to the hour, and let the teacher know if you fall behind — he would far rather slow down than lose you.
Write to admin@sanskritvedanta.org and Acharya Neelakanth will answer himself.
